International Tap Dance Day Flash Mob!

by Kong Eu on June 24, 2013

The Rhythm Tappers @ Malaysia marked history by putting on the FIRST EVER tap flash-mob in Malaysia on International Tap Dance Day 2013!

It was a historic moment on May 25, 2013, as we took to 4 malls in the Klang Valley…led by project director and producer Bryan Foo. Aimed at celebrating this International Day of Tap (marked after the birthday of the late Father of Tap Dance, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson), the flash-mob was also a way of creating more awareness of tap dance amongst Malaysians and other visitors to these malls.

Certainly a milestone for the Rhythm Tappers & tap dance in Malaysia!
